Event Details
Homer’s epic poem inspired artists such as William Waterhouse, Robert S. Duncanson, Herbert Draper, J.M.W Turner and Adolf Hirémy-Hirschl. In this single-session study we will read selections from four of the most famous episodes –The Sirens, The Lotus Eaters, Circe and Polyphemus – and discuss the artworks that depict them.

- The recommended edition of the book for this study is The Odyssey: A New Translation by Daniel Mendelsohn, but you are free to use any translation you like.
